(Please click on the diagram to enlarge it!!) This information has been supplied to show our customers a typical example of the installation process for our custom molded fiberglass running boards.


PLEASE NOTE: As each model of running board has its own installation instructions, this information is given ONLY as a general overview of the installation process.

When you purchase a set of running boards from BOARDS4LESS, you will also be receiving a set of CUSTOM FIT BRACKETS. The custom fit brackets are designed to fit only the model that they are named for. Along with the running boards and brackets, you will also receive all of the hardware needed to install these boards.

CUSTOM RUNNING BOARDS - PART #'S 2000 & 3000 - Custom fit brackets use self drilling and tapping screws and bolts that are used to fasten the brackets to the body of the vehicle. In some cases, custom bracketry requires light drilling (1/4" or 5/16") diameter holes into certain locations.

TOOLS REQUIRED FOR INSTALLATION - In most cases, the tools that are needed include an electric drill with a 5/16" drill bit, 1/2" hex socket, 1/2" wrench, 5/16" nut driver and a 3/8" nut driver.
